James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
A highly sophisticated winemaking approach has resulted in an equally sophisticated wine, the fruit moulded like putty in the winemakers' hands. There is enough tenacity in that fruit to keep its shape and varietal expression.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
The most (sexually) explicit label in the Muse series, and that's saying something. The wine has a shaft of purity driving through the length of the palate, the absence of mlf the reason; white peach fruit is shrouded by citrussy acidity, oak in the shadows; it all works surprisingly well.

Subtle oak fresh fruit in the apple pear spectrum. Nicely balanced with pear flavours and fine mandarin-like acidity getting more concentrated each year. Needs food.

Obviously, an extremely complex wine, the emphasis on texture and structure, not varietal fruit.

Subtle oak, fresh fruit in the citrus spectrum. Nicely balanced with citrus flavours and fine mandarine-like acidity, but needing more time as the fruit is light and watery and the oak obvious.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Very good green-straw; a complex wine; with lots of oak, and lots of ripe fruit; rather less finesse.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Elegant and tight mineral/citrus/stone fruit belying its alcohol; very good line and flow and controlled oak; Tasmanian acidity very evident.
