A blend of Sauvignon Blanc (93%)/Pinot Noir (3%)/Viognier/Chardonnay (2% each) from two vineyards and a multitude of fermentation techniques, including 15% solids fermentation in oak — the list goes on. The result is downplayed fruit aromas and flavours, the focus on texture and complexity. One man's meat; points for effort.

Spotlessly clean, fresh and intense; stylish gooseberry and passionfruit flavours; long and balanced.

Normally we'd be hesitant to recommend a sauvignon blanc with almost a couple of years' bottle age, but this is just soooo impressive, we had to tell you about it: it's incredibly ripe and full of fruit - it tastes like the juiciest, sweetest mango you've ever eaten - yet it's bone dry and zesty. Not to everyone's taste, but Max loved it.
