Moorooduc Estate Mclntyre Vineyard Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Mclntyre Vineyard is, of course, the original estate vineyard dating from 1983. Bright green-quartz, the far-greater intensity and length of wine is instantly obvious; white peach and citrus zest leads the flavours, with some struck match complexity from the cloudy juice.

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
Very savoury, dry and finely textured, this meaty and lightly mineral chardonnay has a floral, waxy and creamy bouquet of intense nectarine, white peach and nutty oak backed by fresh nuances of ginger, cloves and jasmine. It's long, smooth and juicy, with a bright, vital presence of fruit supported by a faint chalkiness, finishing quite meaty, mealy and savoury, with a fresh, drying acidity.
