James Halliday says
Medium red-purple; a solid bouquet with a range of dark fruit, plum and spice aromas is followed by equally abundant flavours of plum and leather on the palate; well balanced, and not too sweet. Once you have base wine such as this my inclination would be to give it the longest possible cork age, i.e. maturation in bottle.

One of the richer and more bullish sparkling reds, this has plenty of blackberry fruits and dark, brooding aromas. The palate's bursting with fresh plum and blackberry jam flavours, billowing fizzy texture and plenty of sweet, lingering flavour. Terrific, hearty stuff.

Cherry bouquet has some leathery development. Full-on, tannic palate - quite dry. One judge thought this is one _for real menî!
