Morton RD Sparkling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1992 Vintage) says
Still available, the 1992 vintage was disgorged from its yeast lees in 1999 ('RD' means 'recently disgorged'). A blend of Chardonnay (50 per cent), Pinot Noir (46 per cent) and Meunier, grown in Hawke's Bay (principally) and Marlborough, it's a mouthfilling, rich wine with a toasty, biscuity fragrance, smooth, citrusy, developed flavours, good yeast autolysis and a lasting finish.
