Moss Brothers Moses Rock Tempranillo

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Here we have a young, juicy style of tempranillo that speaks of fruit instead of oak. There's plenty of sweet, dark berries and cherries on the nose, with hints of soft spice and earthiness. The palate shows juby black berries and spice flavours, with a fine line of tannins, bright acidity, and a decent, succulent finish. It's a lovely, easy drinking style that would go well with a bowl of nachos.

Winemaker's Notes

The Moses Rock range of wines have been crafted from carefully selected fruit and are made to reflect the terroir of Margaret River. Tempranillo grapes sourced from the Geographe and Margaret River regions have been skilfully blended to create this wonderful example of this great Spanish variety.

Appearance: Medium crimson red with magenta hues at the rim.

Nose: Savoury fruit aromas reminiscent of ripe cranberry and sweet black cherry.

Palate: Soft, ripe and full-flavoured with distinctive savoury tannins that lead to a long and rich finish.
