Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Highly perfumed notes of dominant cedar and spicy plum. A little savoury fruit influences emerges once the oak breathes off after opening. Palate has some obvious tannin and oak firmness and the fruit which is medium weight is slightly subdued. Needs a little time.

This was tasted a tank sample and therefore I haven't rated it, but I can tell you it has all the hallmarks of a super wine. There's an enticing softness and generosity on the palate which has an appealing suppleness.

A ripe mix of spice, bramble, black fruits and prune; medium-bodied; savoury tannins, good balance; gentle oak.

Quite fragrant and fresh red fruits; medium-bodied, but well balanced, fine, ripe tannins.

Bright red colour. You get a big waft of plum and vanillin oak on the nose. There's a little savory and slightly spicy character in there as well. I like the lovely lift on the palate with the fine but firm tannins and the excellent use of oak. Sustained and impressive finish. This will be a cracker in a few years

Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet offers complexity, with dark cherry fruit and touches of vanilla oak; the palate has good weight and fruit ripeness, and is round and fleshy, but far from jammy. Both the extract and oak management are good.
