Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The 2002 vintage was fermented in French oak barriques (half new), with 80 per cent malolactic fermentation. Light yellow, it's a full-bodied, slightly honeyed wine with fresh acidity and some complexity and richness. The 2003 is light yellow, with toasty, citrusy, slightly limey aromas. Fresh and flavoursome, with a touch of butterscotch and a creamy-smooth finish, it's drinking well from now onwards.
