Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
Grown on steep slopes in the Maungawera Valley, between Lakes Wanaka and Hawea, the 2007 vintage was matured for 15 months in French oak barriques (partly new). Full-coloured, it has good depth of cherry and herb flavours, braced by firm, chewy tannins.
