Mount Maude Central Otago Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
Hill-grown between Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea, the 2006 vintage is a medium-dry style (11 grams/litre of residual sugar) with crisp, citrusy flavours showing very good vigour and depth. Finely balanced, with steely acidity and a strong finish, it's an intensely varietal wine, for drinking now or cellaring.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Grown at Lake Wanaka, the 2002 vintage is a lean wine with dryish, lemony, appley flavours and a flinty finish.

Michael Cooper (2000 Vintage) says
Grown at Lake Wanaka, the debut 2000 vintage is a dry style, tight, lemony and minerally. Showing good intensity, very clean and lively, it's a freshly acidic wine with a long finish and obvious aging potential.
