Mount Riley Savee Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The first of its breed (launched in 2000), this Marlborough sparkling Sauvignon Blanc is bottle-fermented, but made to retain its fresh, tangy varietal characters. The 2009 vintage is crisp, with tropical-fruit flavours to the fore, some yeasty, creamy notes, and an easy, slightly sweet finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
This distinctive Marlborough bubbly is bottle-fermented and then removed swiftly from its lees to retain its fresh, tangy varietal characters. The 2008 vintage is tropical-fruit flavoured, in a ripely herbaceous style, slightly sweet (7 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp and lively, with a steady 'bead' and gently yeasty finish.
