Mr Mick Riesling
Here we have a young, primal riesling that is very approachable now thanks to a bit of sweetness knocking the edge off the zippy acidity, but it will also keep for a couple of years. Citrusy aromas of lemons and limes waft out of the glass, along with an appealing sniff of ginger spice. The palate is light, bright and juicy, with an off-dry feel, balanced acidity, and a decent, thirst-quenching finish. Just the thing for Thai take-away.
This wine has lemon curd, lime and orange blossom aromas and flavours, made in the classic Australian style with just a touch of fruit sweetness to balance the crisp natural acidity. It is a pristine wine with generous length of flavour.
