Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
Look out for the roast coffee here; plenty of mocha and sweetly spiced chocolate, and the wood is here in spades. The colour's quite deep and the fruit sits in the blackcurrant spectrum with straightforward, bold shape; quite dense, with a long plum finish. Will be a lovely wine in time.

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Grown at Bendigo, in the Cromwell Basin, the fruit-packed, supple 2009 vintage was hand-picked and matured in French oak casks (30 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it has good weight and strong, ripe, youthful flavours of plums and spices.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown at Bendigo, in the Cromwell Basin, and partly oak-aged, the 2008 vintage is a youthful, deeply coloured red, full-bodied, with a strong surge of cherryish, plummy flavour, gently seasoned with oak. Fruit-packed and supple, it shows good muscle and depth.
