Mud House Waipara Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The lemon-scented 2010 vintage is a single-vineyard, estate-grown wine. A medium-dry style (12 grams/litre of residual sugar), it is very harmonious, with lemony, appley flavours, showing good delicacy and freshness, finely balanced acidity and a lingering finish. Good value.

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
Don't let the bottle shape fool you - this is a terrific riesling with Waipara's power and complexity. Quite exotic ripe stone fruits and tropicals, with musky talc and spring flowers. The palate's juicy and deep, with rich fruit presence and a supple, flavoursome and luscious finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage is notably intense and vibrant, with lemon/lime flavours, finely poised and punchy. It's still youthful, but already highly expressive.
