The 2009 vintage was hand-harvested at Waipara and fermented with indigenous yeasts to near dryness. It's medium to full-bodied, with highly concentrated, citrusy, limey flavours, very tight and finely poised, and a crisp, lasting finish. The 2010 is youthful and dry (5 grams/litre of residual sugar) but not at all austere. Full-bodied , it is rich and ripe, with citrusy, spicy, slightly minerally flavours, showing good complexity. Best drinking 2013+.
