Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage a scented, medium style, grown in Martinborough, is a very easy-drinking and harmonious wine with good length. The 2002 is full-bodied, fresh and crisp, with punchy lemon/lime characters and a tangy, slightly sweet (six grams/litre of sugar) finish.

Michael Cooper (1996 Vintage) says
Still fairly youthful, the 1996 vintage is a mouthfilling Martinborough wine, slightly sweet and appley, with firm acidity. A big, steely wine, well balanced, it's starting to develop some minerally, toasty, bottle-aged characters, offering good drinking over the next couple of years.
