Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2008 Vintage) says
Given that this is a luxury Barossan shiraz the alcohol reading here is interestingly low. Good on 'em. A gloriously plush, rich, smooth-skinned red wine. Lots of depth too - it's saturated with flavour. It tastes of intense crushed blackberries and plums, sawdusty oak and toast. This is ever so classy - right down to the tenor of its oak. Fine, slight tannins help keep it under control. This is a wine bursting at the seams with flavour.

Dense, prune-like nose and a full, rich and slightly porty palate with lovely length of big, supple tannins.

Solid red/purple colour. Very toasty oak aromas with layers of blackberry and rhubarb. Lovely ripe flavours on the solid, nicely textured, palate. Will get even better with more cellaring.
