Murray Street Vineyards Viognier Marsanne

Expert Reviews

Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
Rather reserved, supple and savoury, with a lightly floral and waxy bouquet and a long, supple palate whose restrained, subtle presence of citrus and melon flavour overlies a faintly meaty, funky aspect. It finishes with brightness, freshness, soft acids and a lingering spicy, savoury quality

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
I love what marsanne has brought to the party here: even as the lesser half in volume terms, it grounds the viognier and gives it a focused citrusy edge. Aromas of lemons and waxy apricots; the palate's smooth lemon and apricot flavours run straight and true. Golden delicious apple finish.

Musky aromas with a fruity lift. Described as a _lolly shop palateî by one judge, with the musky characters on the nose carrying through. Stylish!
