James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Bright, clear crimson; 35% whole bunch fermentation; a blend of 7 clones matured in French oak (40% new) for 20 months; relatively light-bodied, but has good length, balance and overall clarity ex filtration; very pure cherry and strawberry pinot fruit. 250 dozen made.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Very light colour, with surprising retention of a purple-red hue; strong similarity to the '06, despite 2 years difference in the vintage.

Spicy aromas; spicy, stemmy, light to medium-bodied; quite intense, long and penetrating; slightly hard finish.
