Neudorf Young Nick's Red

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1996 Vintage) says
A decade ago, this small Nelson winery produced a popular Beaujolais-style, Young Nick's Red, from its Pinot Noir vines Ê then decided to fashion a more serious, oak-aged Pinot Noir. The resurrected Young Nick's Red from 1996 is a lovely, unwooded Pinot Noir, ruby-hued, attractively full and smooth, with sweet-fruit appeal, loads of berryish, supple flavour and a dry, persistent finish. Very yummy in its youth.
