(Note: the words 'Second Edition' appear only in small letters on the back label.) Still on sale, the 2006 vintage was grown at Gibbston and Cromwell, tank-fermented with indigenous yeasts, and lees-aged for nine months (three months longer than the First Edition, now sold out). Weighty and slightly oily, with peachy, slightly spicy flavours, it's a dry style (3 grams/litre of residual sugar), with good texture and depth.
