Nga Waka Martinborough Late Harvest Riesling

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
A celebration of ripe, late-harvest fruit characters, the 2003 is a captivating wine. Based on ultra low-yielding vines (2.5 tonnes/hectare), it was harvested at 36 brix and fermented to 12 per cent alcohol and 160 grams per litre of residual sugar. Luscious and oily, with a well-rounded, resounding finish, it shows great harmony. The 2004 vintage is on a lower plane - a tight wine, crisp, citrusy and limey, with a touch of honey.
