Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown at three sites in the Wairau Valley, the 2008 vintage from Ngatarawa is fleshy and ripe, with passionfruit and lime flavours showing good balance and depth, and a dry (2.8 grams/ litre of residual sugar) finish.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
In the past, this was an export-only label, but the 2003 vintage was released in New Zealand. Grown in three vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere valleys, it has a punchy, ripe bouquet and fresh, incisive flavours of melons and green capsicums. A splash of sweetness (7 grams/litre of residual sugar] is balanced by appetising acidity, and the wine shows good intensity and vigour.
