WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Typical HawkeÕs Bay regional style - mouthfilling, ripe, citrusy and peachy, in a fresh, fruit-driven style with a hint of toasty oak, good depth and a rounded finish.

Ready to roll, this Hawke's Bay wine (8% Gisborne) is full-bodied, with fresh, citrusy, peachy flavours, a touch of biscuity oak, and a slightly off-dry finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage is basically a Hawke's Bay wine (with 8 per cent Gisborne fruit). Ready to roll, it is full-bodied, with fresh, citrusy, peachy flavours, a touch of biscuity oak and a slightly off-dry finish.

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The first 2004 vintage is a good buy. A fresh, lemon-scented blend of Hawke's Bay (72 per cent) and Gisborne grapes, it was 70 per cent fermented in second-fill French oak casks; the rest was handled in tanks. An elegant, fruit-driven style, it possesses vibrant citrus and passionfruit flavours, crisp and lively, with very satisfying depth and a smooth finish.
