Ngeringa J.E Syrah

Cracka Review

Red fruits, cherry & blood plum, bright and chirpy, and a sprinkle of nutmeg spice aromas. The softness of sweet marjoram and the sense of kicking around in the falling autumn vine leaf litter. Have you ever tried fresh Schwetchen plums or a freshly baked German Schwetchekuchen. Sounds quaint but they are fabulous!

Curiously oval in shape, misty purple skin, yellow flesh and vibrant plum flavour - there is something strongly akin to Schwetchen plums in this wine and with a waft of cedar and white pepper, the flavours persist and roll on the palate. Grainy tannins at front, plush and softening to the back. Medium bodied, neatly structured and satisfying!
