Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
Nobilo's easy-drinking, non-vintage wine is blended from grapes grown in Gisborne and Hawke's Bay. Fermented in tanks and not oak-aged, it is typically a slightly sweet (6 grams/litre of sugar), lemony, simple wine, clean and fresh. The wine i tasted in mid-2003 was an unexpectedly good, upfront style with ripe, peachy flavours and a buttery, slightly sweet finish.

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; the bouquet is effusive, with generous nectarine and peach fruit. Any oak present is incidental. The palate is on the sweet side, no doubt engineered to be so, but does have above-average length.
