Noon VP

Cracka Review

Medium-deep red in colour with a strong purple hue. Lovely nose of sweet plum jam, ripe strawberries, red currant jelly and spices (vanilla and clove). The palate is very refined and elegant (typical of 2006) yet intense and very long in flavour. The finish lasts for over a minute! Richly sweet, balanced by perfect acid/tannin to provide a silky smooth mouth feel.

Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
Sourced from old bush-vine grenache (Noon have a special little plot), showing mixed dark berries and plums, ripe fragrant lift and liquorice aniseed spices. Delivers lively dark liquorice and blackberry flavours, soft supple tannins, shows terrific integration, concentration and balance. Will cellar nicely. This is the cellar door price; expect to pay more than twice this humble amount on the secondary market.
