James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Fresh red-purple; medium-bodied; clean cassis blackcurrant fruit and touches of chocolate; soft tannins. Mclaren Vale/Langhorne Creek/Adelaide Plains.

Jeremy Oliver (2002 Vintage) says
An honest, flavoursome cabernet with an elegant, fine-grained structure, but without the complexity of higher rating wines. Its slightly greenish, stressed aromas of sweet cassis, raspberries and plums are entwined with sweet mocha oak, nuances of mint and eucalypt. There's length and clarity on the palate, with vibrant berry fruits neatly meshed with creamy mocha oak.

James Halliday (1995 Vintage) says
Medium to full red-purple; strong cassis/blackcurrant aromas are touched with olive and herb, and a hint of oak; they lead on to a powerful palate with a mix of cassis and herb flavours. The finish is long, the tannins are balanced and the oak subtle.
