When you look at this wine you’ll see an alluring pale salmon colour with bronze hues. There’s something about a pink fizz that tends to ignite the senses, and Bollinger tend to do it brilliantly. Vivid expression of strawberries, Turkish delight with a slight floral lift. There’s a delicacy to the mousse that can be detected on the palate, which is wonderfully soft. You’ll find a delicate mix of citrus, red summer berries and a gentle spice. Nicely balanced on the finish with a biscuity length.
In the meticulous House style, Bollinger Rosé is modelled on the Special Cuvée blend, combining the fruits of previous harvests plus the addition of reserve wines from their cellars in Aÿ. Bollinger Rosé is a painstakingly, thoroughly, passionately made wine. Produced in the true Bollinger style; to be first and foremost a great wine.
Bollinger Wine Reviews & Accolades
"Impressive red fruit perfume brings hints of fresh flowers, then a palate showing intensity and a kiss of sweet fruit with supreme elegance. Very fine with classic Bolly depth of flavour. " - Mike Bennie, delicous - April 2011.
"This multi-vintage rosé is an addition to the Bollinger stable. The intense aromas of red forest fruits and loganberries are enhanced with hints of Turkish delight. Initially, the palate is fine and elegant with redcurrant and rose-water flavours but underneath there’s a core of depth and concentration – in the hallmark Bollinger style. A gracious debut. "- Peter Bourne, Sydney Morning Herald - October 2010.
