Here’s a Kiwi sparkler to put a spring in your step, a cool climate blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Lindauer. It’s made in the classic methode Champenoise style so you get all the same expression of the French stuff with out the fancy name. You’ll find a real Pinot aroma to this wine with delicate strawberry aromas and yeasty notes as well as a persistent bead. The strawberry is reflected in the flavours with a creamy texture and excellent acidity before a crisp finish. This is an excellent aperitif wine pairing well with canapés.
Lindauer Special Reserve is bright gold with signature coppery tones. The yeasty and toasty bouquet show excellent maturity from prolonged bottle maturation and the wine is full on the palate with a pleasant, steady mousse and elegant aroma. Food Match: Lindauer Special Reserve can be served as an aperitif or with any style of food. Whilst best enjoyed young and fresh, Lindauer Special Reserve will increase in toasty flavours if left to mature for one to two years.
