Here we have a dessert-style wine that is a little different, and won’t break the piggy bank. Made from Moscatel, it's a highly aromatic grapy and floral number that also shows aromas of orange marmalade and sweet earthiness. The palate is rich, but not syrupy, with the orange and grapiness translating to the flavours on the palate, along with poised acidity, and a smooth finish. Awesome with soft cheeses.
Fragrant, almost headily so – fruity, fresh, floral with some nice wild exuberant earthiness. Smells of oranges,
straw, billy tea and raisiny grapiness. Full-bodied, but not too sweet. Moscatel hedonism, and a bargain.
