Te Hana is a Maori expression which means “To Shine” and that’s exactly what this Sparkling does in the glass; shines with quality and immense concentration. This blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir shows aromas of crisp apples and strawberry. These aromas lead to the palate with the addition of grapefruit and hints of brioche. It has a delicate, creamy bead before a crisp, dry finish. Not just a great bubbly to drink at the start of the evening, it would be a great match to food as well.
This effervescent Cuvée is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir to produce an aromatic aperitif style sparkling wine. The fermentation process has been designed to accentuate the aromas of crisp apples, grapefruit and strawberries combined with delicate brioche characters and a naturally balanced acidity.
This sparkling is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are harvested crushed and quickly chilled to -4C. The free run juice is gently pressed out and allowed to settle and clarify for 24-48 hours before racking. The juice is inoculated with carefully selected yeast to augment the flavours and aromas of each batch and allowed to ferment slowly at cool temperatures over several weeks to capture the crisp zesty flavours of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
