NV Yarrabank Creme de Cuvee Sparkling

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Yering Station are famed for their still wines but the Yarrabank range they can make the best quality sparkling drawing on their stocks of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. One of the major drawcards is the attractive pink colour in the glass before your nose is seduced by aromas of strawberries, pear and almond. The party continues on the palate with strawberry, pastry, citrus and integrated acids. It’s balanced and finishes with excellent length. This is the kind of fizz you want on hand to get the party started, serve on it’s own or with a range of sashimi.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Strawberry blonde.

Nose: Strawberry, pear with hints of almond and yeast.

Palate: Creamy palate with integrated acid providing balance to this unctuous yet elegant wine. Strawberry, stone fruit, citrus and pastry characters provide further structure. Balance is maintained through to the back of the palate and finishes with excellent length.
