James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Has what Peter Rogers describes as a normal ferment, with temperatures 18-22¡C, and additions of tartaric acid, tannin, yeast, oak chips and diammonium phosphate. Open-fermented, plunged 3 times a day, pressed after extended maceration, then 14 months in a single barrique, with triple-racking technique for clarification. Neither filtered nor cold stablised. Clear medium red-purple; an attractive wine with good tannin structure, fine and savoury; a tangy/ lively finish.
