Oakridge Lieu-dit Mackay Vineyard Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
The vineyard is at Hesketh, near Mt Macedon, cropping at 4 tonnes per ha; a fine, yet complex bouquet, with some affinities with Burgundy, or perhaps Chablis; has great thrust and drive, mineral and lemon pouring through on the finish.

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
The finest and most floral of the Oakridge chardonnays from 2009, this is sourced from an elevated close-planted mature vineyard on Mount Macedon. With peach, lemon curd, lime blossom and hints of jasmine, the palate's impressively struck on a solid core of sizzling acid. Sherbert-like finish.
