Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The rich but slightly rustic 2007 vintage was matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (one-third new). It's a generous red, full-coloured, ripe and smooth, with earthy, herbal notes and a well-rounded finish. The ruby-hued 2008 is solid but plain, with simple, berryish flavours and a very smooth finish.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
French oak-aged for a year, the 2003 vintage is fairly developed for its age. A green-edged, plum and cherry-flavoured wine, it lacks real fruit sweetness and richness, with a spicy, firm finish.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Offering fine value, the 2001 vintage is densely coloured and firmly structured, with well-ripened plum/spice flavours seasoned with oak and very good depth. It's a youthful wine with some cellaring potential
