Palliser Estate Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
A smartly finished wine that has the trademark stamp of Palliser s nicely judged reductive edge, some flinty notes, honeysuckle, melon and gentle spice. A flavoursome palate that has plenty of melon and spiced apple fruit; tangy crunch through the finish.

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A straightforward style, with bold, ripe stone fruits, tropical note and pears; there's a stroke of honey too. The palate tastes of mango, peach and pear, balancing concentration and freshness admirably.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Fresh, finely balanced wine with very good depth of peachy, citrusy, spicy flavours and unobtrusive sweetness. Maturing very gracefully.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
Full-bore richness and ripeness, this has gathered a little puppy fat in bottle and sits in the exotic end of the spectrum, pears and guava, some gravelly complexity too. Sweet tropical fruit flavours and glossy texture, sweet honeycomb finish.
