Paramoor Wines Joan Picton Pinot Noir

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Full crimson colour, although bright and clear; the rich bouquet of plum and black cherry leads into a powerful, layered palate with a reprise of the bouquet fruit before a spicy/foresty finish. A complex pinot that manages to carry its alcohol without demur and will live for many years.
Wine Companion Dec/Jan 2012
James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Deep colour, still holding crimson, no sign of colour change; a very classy Pinot, with satsuma plum, cherry and fruit spice driving the bouquet and palate alike; its balance is impeccable, as is the classic lift on the finish. Trophies Best Pinot Noir and Best Wine of Show Macedon Ranges Wine Exhibition Õ11.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Well-constructed pinot, all the parts in place: color, flavor, texture, length and balance. Enjoyable now, but will build more complexity with time.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
More weight and substance than many pinots from the Macedon region; dark briary plum fruit with sundry spices; real character.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Healthy colour; a clean bouquet, then gently sweet plummy fruit followed by a spicy, dry finish.
