Sicilian passion meets contemporary Australian is the catch cry of Paul Conti, a third generation winemaker crafting multi-award winning wines in the south west coastal region of WA. Paul believes that Chardonnay excels in the region and who are we to disagree based on the evidence presented here. Cool climate all the way with aromas of peach and citrus as well as cashew nut and leesy notes. The palate continues the fruit theme with rock melon and stonefruit ass well as the markings of subtle oak. This wine would be superb with rich fish dishes.

Winemaker's Notes

Nose: The bouquet exhibits hints of peach and citrus enhanced by delicate oak and lees characters.

Palate: The palate is fresh and lively reflecting quality cool-climate vineyards. Honeydew melon and stone-fruit flavours are evident as a young wine which will develop toasty characters as the wine matures.

Food Pairing: Ideally suited to fresh shell-fish & grilled seafood or lightly sauced white meats.

Smoky and slightly savoury bacon notes on the nose. This is a lighter chardonnay with good flavour intensity. Nice melon and subtle charry oak balanced with a fine lingering acidity. Should be ideal in the shorter term.
