Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
The wine was open-fermented (14 days) and spent 16 months in French oak (30% new). The result is a most attractive medium-bodied Shiraz, with red and black cherry fruit and persistent spice, pepper and tannin nuances reflecting the cool season.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Good colour depth and hue; the penetrating aromas of the bouquet are based on a foundation of black fruits, warm spices and cedary oak; the palate takes the baton with ease, unfurling a complex array of flavours shot through with fine but persistent tannins. A died-in-the-wool stayer.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Deep color; very rich, ripe, concentrated and luscious prune and black fruit flavors from the oldest vines in the region; tannins controlled, oak likewise
