Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says
Handsomely oaked, this ripe and forward shiraz has a dark, smoky bouquet of deep red and black fruits, minerals and raisins backed by nuances of cola, dark chocolate, mint and menthol. It's smooth and polished, dripping with intense flavours of blackberries, cassis and dark plums knit with sweet cedar/vanilla oak and supported by a fine, firmish backbone. It finishes with a lingering core of fruit laced with nuances of iodide and licorice.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Excellent hue; an altogether more subtle wine than the standard shiraz; here blackberry, dark plum and just a whisper of licorice are wrapped in a fine gauze of tannins; has particularly good length. Shiraz.

Very good colour reveals an intense, highly focused wine with great texture and structure to the seamless spicy black fruits, oak and tannins. Shiraz.

WINESTATE (2005 Vintage) says
Hessian-like characters sitting on top of some elegant and stylish blue and black varietal fruit. Complex palate with great presence and plenty of length.
