Expert Reviews

Jeremy Oliver (2011 Vintage) says
Simply a superb but extremely young chardonnay, whose eady, lightly floral bouquet of white peach, grapefruit and vanilla oak reveal nuances of cloves, cashew and chalkiness1 It?s unctuous, round and smooth, with a plush but tightly controlled palate of grapefruit, yellow peach and melon flavour finely balanced with fresh oak and culminating in a long, gentle and almost savoury finish of soft, tightly-knit acids and a lingering briney, faintly mineral note1 Likely to age brilliantly, for a long time1

Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
A finely crafted, elegant chardonnay with appealing complexity beneath its bright, translucent varietal fruit. A crystalline bouquet of grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruits backed by nuances of minerals and smoky, matchstick oak precedes a concentrated, chalky palate whose deep core of grapefruit and lemon rind flavour moves seamlessly towards a long, tangy and mineral finish wrapped in tight, zesty acids.

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
Quite mature for its age, this spicy, nutty chardonnay reveals a perfume of jasmine and ginger, grapefruit and melon knit with reserved, hessian-like oak and a hint of clove. It's smooth and round, long and seamless, with a deep, but tightly controlled core of marmalade-like fruit. It finishes silky and savoury.

Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
A delicate yet deceptively powerful chardonnay that brings together a wild mix of white peach, meal and grapefruit with a sprinkling roasted almond. The palate is mouth puckeringly tight and reserved yet the in core of powerful fruit is evident as it builds on the long palate. Promising.
