Matt Donaldson and Lynette Hudson, the talent behind winemaking at Pegasus Bay, were inspired by a star-studded line-up of dry Rieslings they encountered at an Australian get-together. So they made their own. It shows superb florals and sweet perfume, bright lifted aromatics and impressive precision and concentration. Mandarin citrus flavours, typical of the Waipara region, some sugar registers (just under 6 grams), very long, complex and complete with ripe acid sizzle.
