Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The 2004 vintage was made from botrytised Chardonnay grown at Waipara and fermented and aged in seasoned French oak barriques for 18 months. A golden, full-bodied, Sauternes-style wine with honey and orange flavours, soft, complex and rich, it's delicious now.

The golden 2000 vintage was made from botrytised Chardonnay grown at Waipara and fermented and aged in . seasoned French oak barriques for two years. It's a medium to full-bodied, rich and rounded wine with peach, apricot and honey flavours, now tasting quite mature. Ready; no rush

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
The rich, golden 1999 vintage was made from botrytised Chardonnay grown at Waipara, and fermented and aged on its yeast lees in seasoned French oak barriques for over two years. Fresh and smooth, with a strong noble rot influence, it's a lush, weighty and rounded wine with concentrated flavours of apricots and peaches and complexity from the long oak maturation. Drink now onwards.

Michael Cooper (1997 Vintage) says
Made in a Sauternes style but with Chardonnay grapes', the 1997 vintage was grown at Waipara, picked at 32 and 40 brix, and fermented and matured in French oak barriques (half new). Golden, with a honied bouquet, it's a very mouthfilling (14 per cent alcohol) wine with considerable complexity and rich, sweet, citrusy, peachy flavours woven with fresh acidity.
