Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
The Wrattonbully cousin to the Coonawarra Calcare cabernet, this single-vineyard wine has lovely, ripe red fruits, mulberry and raspberry, some cherry and cassis too. The palate s really soft, supple and fleshy, tannins are smooth and even and there s a lively, bright, upbeat finish.

Considered by Pepper Tree to be their best cabernet vineyard on the Limestone Coast, planted on a terra rossa/limestone dune. It is a luscious wine overflowing with cassis and blackcurrant fruit, quality French oak and ripe, soft tannins.

This new range of Pepper Tree wines comes in a stylish new bottle. Sexy, without being too heavy or over the top. Reverse taper but with round shoulders. You have to check it out. This is a whole new world of quality for Pepper Tree. It's a super wine. Sweetly fruited, deliciously textured, well structured and persistent. Flavours of mulberry and blackcurrant, aniseed and cedarwood. Not all that heavy, but flavoursome enough. If someone pulls this out on a Saturday night, rub your hands together with glee.

Pure dark fruit bouquet of cassis, violet and black olive; quite firm, the fruit is poised, polished and pristine, with a long even and harmonious palate; the oak is a mere seasoning component.
