Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
A blend of grenache shiraz and mourvedre. It is a beautifully fleshy and vibrant red blend with fine supple tannins and generous fruit intensity. There is a spicy character on the nose with some nice plummy licorice characters. The subtle earthiness on the palate adds some complexity. Excellent wine.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Light crimson-purple; a highly unusual cool-climate blend of Grenache/Mourvedre/Shiraz; while only light- to medium-bodied, the red berry and spice flavours are far brighter and tighter than those of any SA region producing the blend.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
A very interesting wine, this blend of Grenache (80%)/Mourvedre (15%)/Shiraz (5%) coming from a cooler climate than the regions in the eastern states that provide it; the gentle confection character of the grenache is freshened by good acidity and fine tannins. Well worth a look.
