Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
This is a chardonnay that boldly and confidently leads with texture and winemaking complexity ahead of pure fruit expression. With air and time, the fruit is given opportunity to shine. And shine it does, with reflections of apple, pear and grapefruit, focused and linear, streaming through a long, textural finish.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
From 26-year-old estate vines, hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed direct to used barrels for wild yeast fermentation and 100% mlf; has retained good acidity to balance the nutty brioche notes, and melon and citrus fruit. Elegant wine.

Jeremy Oliver (2010 Vintage) says
A very good wine of pronounced style and composition that steadily opens with aeration to reveal remarkable complexity and character for such youth. It?s pungent, earthy and meaty, with oxidative, hessian-like scents of dusty, waxy and nutty characters lifted by notes of honeysuckle, cinnamon, clove and oregano. Round and gentle, with a deep underlying core of melon, apple and peach-like fruit supported by a chalky undercarriage, it finishes long and savoury, with freshness and softness.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Complex barrel ferment aromas; a strongly structured palate, with apple, nuts and some grapefruit, the oak now in the background.
