Philip Shaw Edinburgh Sparkling

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Gotta love this label! It gets top points for it's crazy scary goth design, and the contents aren't too bad either. It's a drier style of bubbly that shows lots of grapefruits, baked bread and subtle red fruits on the nose, whilst the palate is bright and frisky, with a super-creamy mouthfeel, citrusy acidity, and a crisp finish. A great value party starter with some tempura prawns.

Winemaker's Notes

The high altitude, age and aspect of Orange and in particular the Koomooloo vineyard has ideal conditions for producing a sparkling of great complexity. We are very excited to launch our first sparkling using Méthode Traditionelle; which is the old world method used in Champagne, it truly is the effervescence of superiority.
