James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light green-yellow; a fresh, delicate, flowery passionfruit-driven bouquet shows excellent varietal character, as does the palate. Here grassy pea pod and passionfruit flavours provide a neat interplay in a wine with above average intensity and length.
Australian Wine Companion 2003 2002
James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light green-yellow; the bouquet is very light and fresh, with a mix of mineral and passionfruit aromas. The palate is equally fresh and crisp, tending minerally; moderate length.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
The colour is so pale it is almost water-white; the bouquet is delicate, with light passionfruit aromas, and the palate likewise very much on the delicate side with crisp mineral and slightly fruitier characters. Beautifully made, but not overly concentrated.
Australian Wine Companion 2000 1999
James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; a clean and fresh bouquet of light to medium intensity, with delicate passionfruit aromas; the palate is similarly fresh, delicate and well balanced, simply lacking the fruit intensity of top-end New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.
