Pighin Pinot Grigio

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Pinot grigio is gaining many fans in Australia, and this one from Italy shows typical pear and apple aromas, together with sniffs of honeysuckle and toastiness. The palate is medium-bodied with more pear and toasty flavours, balanced acidity, and a dry, fruity finish. Try it with a light pork dish.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Straw yellow with light amber reflects, bright and nice tone.

Nose: Fine flowery and fresh fruit scents, persisting, good personality, balanced and gentle, nose of ripe banana and toasted coffee.

Palate: Characteristic, fresh, long and persisting, good body, elegant, and with several aromas in the back taste. It is generous.

Food: Classical fish wine; excellent with risotto, vegetable soups and light white meat.
